The Art of Eating..
My little man loves to eat. When we took him to the Doctor for his 4 month check up the Doctor said that we should start trying him on solid foods by spoon since he is wanting to eat so much now. The first week did not go so well. He could not master the spoon, but a week later this is what we have gotten too... the sound is the best part if you can hear it. Tucker brings a new smile to our face every day! We just love him.

Time for an UPDATE!!!
So life has been ever changing since November 28th, 2009! Our first month was crazy getting used to the amazing change Tucker brought into our lives. Waking up every two hours was definitely a challenge I was not prepared for... but snuggling with him brought a love that was unimaginable. It has been amazing to see him growing every day! Every day he brings a bigger smile to our faces. He has the biggest smile and coos all the time at us and is definitely a snuggler!! He has already started rolling over when propped on his forearms, and is slowing starting to grab at things and some nights he will sleep for 6 hrs at a time!!! He is now 2 months, 10 lbs 9.5 oz and 23 3/8 inches long!!!! He is growing so fast!!!
Matthew and I both have callings in the youth program at our church. He is over the Deacons (12-13 yr old) and I teach the miamaids (14-15 yr old) on Sundays. We really enjoy working with the youth. It makes us still feel young haha!
Our first Christmas was amazing!!! Tucker was the best present! We spent Christmas Eve in Cherokee with Matthew's family. Then had Christmas morning at our house and spent Christmas evening with my family. It was an amazing Christmas and everyone one of our family members were together!!

First Family Photo
Tucker finally arrived on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 @ 12:48 p.m. On Friday we spent the day at my moms for the Daino Thanksgiving. While eating dinner I ate some cranberry sauce and it did not settle well in my stomach, but didn't think much of it. I went and laid down for a bit and started to feel better. So I went back to the kitchen and started helping mom and Rachel clean up. (Rachel thought it was weird that I was wanting to clean so much, so I think she had an idea that the baby was coming soon). We finished up the evening with some family photos and then I started feeling really tired and asked Matthew if we could head on home. We went home and we were both wore out so we headed to bed to watch TV and relax. I, of course, was checking my facebook and such and then got up and headed to bathroom, and all of the sudden my water broke. Matthew's face was priceless, when I told him what was going on. Boy he went into serious mode! We finally made it to the hospital about 10:30 pm and was in labor til 12:48 Saturday afternoon! We were so excited to finally have him here!!!! Tucker Clay Holling! He was 7 lbs 12 oz and 21 1/2 inches long! Now we are trying to figure out a routine and find as much time to sleep as possible!

Just an Update...
It has been a while since my last post so I thought I'd give you guys a little update on what is going on in our life. We are now living in Statesville, looking for a place to live because Matthew got a job in Mooresville. He is working for Childforms, where he gets to design playgrounds all over the U.S. I think it is such an awesome job, and he really seems to be enjoying it. I'm quickly starting to get a belly, from the growing baby. I am now 27 weeks getting ready to reach my 3rd trimester. Sleeping has become a little more difficult, but everyone keeps telling me that it is preparing me for when the baby is here. I have one more ultrasound on Sept. 3rd, which I excited to see little baby Tucker again. Sets my mind at ease to actually see him. The baby has been kicking and moving like crazy and Matthew loves to feel him kick. We are so excited for him to get here and to get things ready for him.

Breaking News: I'm Pregnant :)
It is official. Matthew and I are expecting our first child. I am 20 weeks along and not showing a whole lot. Most people can't believe that I'm pregnant. We had the "big" ultrasound Tuesday (7/7/09) and found out that we are having a little boy. The approximate due date is November 24, 2009. And for those of you that know about what happened to my sister Rachel, we are a hundred percent sure it is a boy (see pic below). We are excited about the days that lay ahead of us. We have decided to name him Tucker Rylan Holling. Tucker is Matthew's Grandma's maiden name and Rylan we just like haha. Tucker is definitely already extremely active. During the ultrasound he moved so much. It was awesome to see his heart beating. That is my favorite part and makes it all so real for me. He also stuck his tongue out at us, gave us the thumbs up and kept putting his hands up like he was already ready to wrestle like Matthew and I play around. I think Tucker is going to fit in real well with us. Matthew got to feel him kick for the first time Wednesday night. He couldn't believe it and wouldn't remove his hand. It is amazing to see the joy and love already in his face for little Tucker. I know I kid Matthew about Tucker being wild and crazy like him when he was little, but honestly I hope he is just like Matthew, because one day Tucker will be able to make someone just as happy!
IT'S A BOY!

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
I know my family will think this post is cheesy, but I really can't believe that Matthew and I have been married for a year already. We were bothing talking about how quickly it has gone and how it still feels like we just got married the other day. I know most people say the first year of marriage is the hardest, well if that is the hardest I'm REALLY looking forward to all the years to come! Matthew I love you and all the wonderful things you have done for me and our relationship. We truly are great friends and lovers! I can't wait to see what the years ahead will bring!
I love you!
